Brown Statement on Indiana Senate District 15 Victory
/FORT WAYNE, IND. – Republican candidate Liz Brown released the following statement upon learning voters elected her to represent them in Indiana Senate District 15:
“I am humbled to learn I will represent my neighbors in Indianapolis. I will take the voices of the voters I met during the campaign to the Statehouse. We will push for positive education reform that helps children learn, a tax and regulatory climate that encourages job creation and strong infrastructure measures. Government should work for the people, not the other way around.
“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my husband, Steve, my seven children, my volunteers and staff. They supported my race through so many months of campaigning. I wish my opponent, Jack Morris, the best in his future endeavors. And I congratulate the other candidates who won their races tonight.
“I look forward to representing Northeast Indiana in the Indiana Senate. I am honored to serve.”
